Michael Weatherly: 'NCIS' Star Arrested, Charged With DUI

"NCIS" star Michael Weatherly was busted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) for driving under the influence.

Earlier this month, Weatherly, 47, was charged with two counts of DUI and spent close to 15 hours behind bars after law enforcement officers checked his blood alcohol content and found it to be above the permissible limit during a traffic stop in Hollywood, Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

If found guilty, the actor could receive a maximum prison sentence of six months and a $1,000 fine; however, jail time is less likely taking into account he has no priors and is a first-time offender.

Weatherly, who plays Anthony DiNozzo on the crime drama "NCIS," has been part of the series since the show's start in 2003 and earns approximately $250,000 per episode. He was previously engaged to Jessica Alba between 2001 and 2003 but then went on to tie the knot with Bojana Jankovic, with whom he has two kids, according to Just Jared.
