On Thursday, only a day after our nation was struck by yet another senseless tragedy at the hands of terrorists - whether they be domestic or otherwise - New York Giants safety Nat Berhe took to twitter to reveal that among the 14 innocent victims shot down at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, CA was Berhe's cousin (h/t Kevin Patra of NFL.com).
Just got word that one of my cousins was among the 14 killed yesterday, I'm so sick right now.

The true terror is that this keeps happening. I still can't believe it. Take a moment to think of the families hurting right now. — Nat Berhe (@NatBerhe) December 3, 2015
The 24-year-old Berhe hasn't played a down for the Giants this season. A fifth-round pick of the team in the 2014 NFL Draft, Berhe appeared in all 16 games last season, performing predominantly on special teams and collecting 14 tackles.
Reports have begun to trickle out over the past few hours, indicating potential motive for the three suspects accused of killing 14 and wounding another 21 people, though further information likely provides little solace for families and friends of the victims, like Berhe.
Shortly after Wednesday's events began to unfold, Berhe sent prayers and well-wishes to those in his hometown of San Bernardino.
Send a prayer up for my hometown #SanBernardino, active shooter situation, 20 victims. Hurts my heart. — Nat Berhe (@NatBerhe) December 2, 2015
