Tyra Banks will once again show audiences Eve's 100-watt smile when she reprises her role in the forthcoming "Life-Size 2." After months of speculation the "America's Next Top Model" host confirmed that she will be back as Eve, the doll that gets brought to life in the original 2000 film.
"There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!" Banks told Variety in a statement. "I'm just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve."
"Life-Size" is a made for TV movie that starred Banks alongside an 11-year-old Lindsay Lohan. In the film, Lohan played a young girl who recently lost her mother and brought her doll to life while trying to resurrect her mom, according to People. Banks is also set to executive produce the film, but she said nothing about the possibility of Lohan being in the movie.
"We have not talked about casting at all so I have no idea who is going to be the young person that will be the owner of Eve," Banks said. "We haven't gotten to that."
"Life-Size 2" is already in development and is currently being considered as a Disney Channel original movie, Us Weekly reported.
"I think it will be 2016," Banks said of the film's release date. "We're looking at it as a holiday movie so hopefully holiday 2016. One thing is it's a very precious project to the Disney Channel so they've been doing a lot of rewrites and making sure that the script is really tight. I'm really excited about it."
