Gwyneth Paltrow's recently opened Goop pop-up shop in Manhattan, New York City was robbed of more than $170,000 worth of designer jewelry on Saturday, according to People.
Three unidentified men walked into the store at approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday and forced open a cabinet containing the merchandise. Staff reported the thieves, but they managed to flee with the loot before police arrived at the scene, according to the New York Police Department.
The stolen jewelry, which includes a $106,000 Bulgari bracelet, has an estimated worth of $173,465. An investigation into the robbery is ongoing, but no arrests have been made so far, police said.
The thieves also managed to make off with an 18-karat David Weiss bracelet worth $43,750 and three men's Rolex watches, according to Page Six.
A Goop spokeswoman said that the burglary took place when the shop was teeming with customers. "There was an isolated incident Saturday afternoon involving a very limited number of items, which was reported to the NYPD," the spokesperson said. "While the store was crowded during one of our busiest days, thankfully the NYPD responded quickly, our customers and staff are safe, and we remain open for business with proper security precautions in place."
The "Iron Man" actress opened the New York Store on Nov. 23 and it is expected to stay open until Christmas Eve.
