Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley will be co-hosting the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards! Bryan shared the exciting news with a video announcement on Facebook, Tuesday morning.
"Dierks Bentley, I hope you're ready to co-host the 51st ACM-Academy of Country Music Awards with me. Be sure to mark April 3rd on your calendars now," he wrote. Bentley shared the same video adding, "I'm excited to announce that I'll be joining my friend Luke."
This will be Bryan's fourth consecutive year hosting the show. For the past three years, the 39-year-old country star has co-hosted with his good friend Blake Shelton, but for unknown reasons, Shelton was not able to join him again next year, according to People. Even though Bryan was sad to see him go, he said it wasn't hard to find a replacement.
"When we found ourselves looking for a new co-host I didn't have to look much further than my own circle of friends so Dierks was a natural choice," Bryan said in the official press release. "We have a lot of fun together and I know the fans will be in for something special."
"I think everyone knows Luke is the guy you call when you want to have a good time," Bentley, who is a first time host, added. "If we have half as much fun hosting together as we do backstage, it's going to be a great night."
