Monroe is back with the gang and he’s already causing trouble. Although he saved Charlie from those thugs he’s also killed John Fry, causing everyone to question his character once again.
The relationship that’s probably most affected by Monroe’s return is the one between Rachel and Charlie. Rachel can’t understand why her daughter would team up with the man responsible for Daniel’s death.
While the mother-daughter relationship may be rocky, Elizabeth Mitchell (who plays Rachel) says her character and Charlie do have some make-up time on the horizon.
“There is some sweet stuff coming up, which is good,” Mitchell said recently according to TVLine’s Matt Mitovich. “It’s always hard to see two people who love each other at odds all the time.”
In tonight’s episode Monroe may not really have time to care what Rachel thinks of him. According to the preview posted on NBC.com, the Patriots have arrested Monroe and sentenced him to death. (The preview doesn’t really specify which crime he’s been arrested for but the man has a few transgressions to choose from.)
I’m assuming Miles and the gang, including Rachel, will have to find some way to save Miles. When asked by TVLine about the future of her character and Monroe, Mitchell also told TVLine that things “will come to a head” in tonight's episode. Read the full interview here.
Will Rachel help save Monroe only to try and kill him later? Do you want to see Monroe as a villain or as a hero?
“Revolution” airs Wednesday at 9/8c on NBC.
