The Perth Scorchers will take on the Adelaide Strikers in the sixth match of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2015-16 Monday at Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA) Ground in Perth.

The Strikers began their BBL campaign with a comfortable 19-run win over the Melbourne Stars. A record fifth wicket partnership between Alex Ross and skipper Brad Hodge powered the Strikers to 187 for five in the second match of the tournament, played at Adelaide Oval Friday night, according to ABC News. The Stars were later dismissed for 158 for seven.
The Scorchers, on the other hand, will be looking to start the season strongly. In a setback to the Adam Voges-led champion side, wicketkeeper Sam Whiteman was ruled out of Monday's match due to a finger injury
"When you're wicketkeeping, and you're getting smacked on it all the time, then that's going to have a negative effect. We decided to go the other way and give him a bit of time to get it right and stay fit," coach Justin Langer said, according to Perth Now.
