Lamar Odom will most likely not be returning to the Los Angeles Lakers... ever. Phil Jackson, retired NBA coach, told TMZ that Odom may have hurt his chances of ever playing with his former team again.
"I think that bridge might have been burned," Jackson said not divulging what happened between Odom and the Lakers.
Jackson, who is said to be close to Lakers' executives, said he wasn't blaming the Kardashian family for Odom's problems, despite a recently interview where he hinted that the athlete would have been better off without the famous family.
He did say that he thought the reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," was a distraction for Odom but in the end the good outweighed the bad. As Jackson pointed out "Lamar got a family and a caring unit."
It seems like Odom is getting himself together. He was recently spotted at a date night with his wife Khloe Kardashian at a Kanye West concert. Sources told TMZ that even though the two were at the concert together they are not back together and Kardashian has not reconciled with him.
He was only invited to the concert because the family know he's been clean and sober for several weeks and they want to support "his recovery and wanted him to have a good time."
Odom showed up the Staples Center by himself and joined Kardashian and her family for the concert. Bruce Jenner was also said to have been at the concert even though he and Kris Jenner ended their 22-year marriage.
The momager reportedly hung out with Bruce at the concert but the two are not getting back together anytime soon. Bruce had his sons, Brody and Brandon, go with him to the concert.
