Drake does not forget where he comes from. The rapper got his start in the entertainment business as an actor in the Canadian teen drama "Degrassi" where he played the role of Jimmy Graham from 2001-2009. Yesterday, the rapper posted a picture of himself with actress Andrea Lewis, who played his on-screen love interest Hazel in the series.
"Forever my ting," Drake captioned the black-and-white photo, which featured his head on Lewis' shoulder.
Drake and Lewis' characters got together in Season 3 of the popular show and were together until Season 5, according to MTV. Jimmy and Hazel, who met in detention, were together when he was shot in the back, leaving him paralyzed.
It has been a big year for Drake and "Degrassi" reunions. In August, he attended the premiere of the new web series "We Are Disorderly," which stars "Degrassi" alums Al Mukaddam and Mazin Elsadig, as HNGN previously reported. At the premiere, Drake was photographed with Mukaddam, Elsadig and another co-star, Lauren Collins.
