Iggy Azelea new single from her upcoming album "Digital Distortion" will be titled "Team," the Australian rapper revealed during a Q&A session with fans on Twitter, according to Billboard. "Lead is TEAM. meaning: ive got my own back, i iam my own team. 20% meaningful 70% bop 10% ratchet," replied Azalea to a fan.
When another fan asked her if "Team" would release next month, the "Fancy" singer replied "NO," but added that she would be dropping new "content, buzz songs, viral videos and other cool stuff" next month, according to E!.
Azalea also said that the January releases are "not intended for radio consumption" and added that the music won't be available on iTunes and will instead be released on platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud.
The 25-year-old revealed that her upcoming album has been inspired by pop. "Ironically, i refer to myself as pop all the time," she said. "Even on this new album. pop IS an influence. so are many other things..."
The release date of the track has not yet been revealed but Azalea teased a short snippet of the song in a video of herself dancing in front of a bathroom mirror, according to Entertainment Weekly.
