Are you looking for a job? Tesla Motors is hiring. Over the next four years, the company plans on hiring 4,500 new employees, according to Fortune. The wave of new employees will be focused on building an autonomous car.
By the end of 2015, Tesla will have 14,000 employees. The workforce itself has grown more than 14 times since 2010.
Earlier this month, Tesla was already looking to fill 1,648 positions worldwide, according to CBS.
Overseas expansion is also a major priority for the carmaker as the company is looking to grow its markets in Amsterdam, Sydney, Beijing and London.
CEO Elon Musk recently posted about the need for "hard-core software engineers," according to the Wall Street Journal. Since then, the company has been bombarded with hopefuls looking to fill the positions.
Tesla may be putting much of its focus on an automated car, but it's not the only one. Both Apple and Google are working on projects geared towards self-driving cars.
Tesla was recently valued at $30 billion, showing the optimistic outlook many have about the company's future.
Not only is the company's workforce growing, but its physical presence is as well. In 2016, Tesla plans on opening a lithium battery plant near Reno, Nev.
