It's only been a few months since One Direction's Zayn Malik proposed to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, but already the 20-year-old singer is preparing for her big wedding day, and recently revealed some details to U.K. paper The Sun.
"I actually wanted to have quite a small wedding, but then all the girls in my family are desperate to come and would like to be bridesmaids too," she said. "I realize my wedding is every journalist's dream. It's going to be like the movie '27 Dresses' where the bride has like a billion bridesmaids."
Naturally, Edwards plans on having all three of her Little Mix bandmates as bridesmaids, including Jesy Nelson, 22, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 22, and Jade Thirlwall, 20.
As she and Mailk both have hectic schedules that includes tons of touring and time on the road, Edwards said that she wasn't planning on having a long engagement.
"Put it this way: I don't want to be engaged for 50 years. We'll get there soon," she joked. However, the singer insisted she has no plans to start having children anytime soon.
"My boyfriend doesn't really work much so he's always available to see. It's easy... Not! Zayn and I have had no time to start properly planning. The engagement kind of just happened and then we've been away from home all year."
Both groups were contestants on the "The X-Factor," Little Mix having won their season while One Direction placed third in the show's seventh series before going on to become perhaps the biggest boy band of all time. Their third studio album, "Midnight Memories," is set for a Nov. 25 release, while Little Mix's new album, "Salute," will be released to iTunes on Nov. 3.
