Lamar Odom's son, Lamar Odom Jr., has posted the first photo of his father since he was hospitalized following a near fatal overdose on Oct. 13.
The former NBA player has not been seen by the public since the incident, but his son took it upon himself to share the first photo to show his followers that his father is looking well after health scare. "Christmas with my pops," he captioned the selfie with his sister Destiny, according to Us Weekly. "Here's to 2016. Blessed."
Lamar Jr. and Destiny are Lamar's children from his marriage to his ex Liza Morales. When he was first found unconscious and was in critical condition during the first few days of his hospitalization, his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian flew his family out so they could be with Lamar. He has been doing much better recently, and the family even hopes that he will be leaving the hospital soon as his condition has improved.
"The family is continuing to be optimistic about having him into a rehab center before Christmas," a source told E! News before the holidays. "Either way his kids are flying out to be with him, whether it's at Cedars or the new center in Calabasas that he will be relocated to."
Up until recently, he was moving with a walker, but on Dec. 17, he walked a few steps without any assistance for the first time and completely shocked the doctors, as HNGN previously reported. His brain function is improving and he's starting to remember people more and more often, so he will most likely be moving a rehab facility soon.
