’50 Shades of Grey’ Movie Cast News: Who is Victor Rasuk, Everything You Need to Know About the New Jose Rodriguez?

E.L. James welcomed Victor Rasuk to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" team on Twitter shortly after announcing that actor Jamie Dornan would replace Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey.

"You'll be 'kindred spirits' with the newest member of #TeamFifty. Victor Rasuk joins #FiftyShades as Jose Rodriguez," she tweeted on Oct. 31.

Just like Dornan and Dakota Johnson, the 29-year-old actor is relatively unknown but we were able to dig up a little information about the actor who will play Christian Grey's rival.

    * He reportedly dated Nicki Reed for two years. Rasuk is said to have dated Reed from 2004 to 2006 after the two met on the set of "Lords of Dogtown." There are rumors that they lived together but called it quits after dating for a couple years, E! News reports. No word if he is currently single or off the market.

        * Don't bother trying to find Rasuk on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The actor doesn't have any official social media accounts and has stayed out of the public eye.

            * Even though he isn't an A-list Hollywood star he does have some movies and TV spots under his belt including "Lords of Dogtown," "How to Make It In America," "Godzilla," "Jobs" and "ER" just to name a few.

                * In an interview he said he still gets nervous even though he has been in the acting business for a long time.

"I still get nervous. I've been in this business for around 10 years now, and you get jaded a little bit, but there are always those projects that you really care about," he said in an interview, E! reports. "I don't throw up anymore but I still get the jitters, and I'm starting to really feel it for Season Two [of 'How to Make It'] now that I'm doing press for it. I like the feeling of getting nervous because it lets me know that I'm not jaded."

                    * In a different interview Rasuk admitted about being a former bad boy but wouldn't go into details about being in a gang.

"I got kicked out of high school for bringing a blade," he said in an interview YourTango reports. "I was still going through a phase where I thought I was a little gang banger. I was doing sh*t with gangs and stuff in New York. I don't want to get into detail... but I saw that I was starting to f*ck up and let my mom down."

Rasuk also has a very-cute brother, Silvestre, who is also an actor. The two starred in "Raising Victor" together.
