The premiere for season 20 of ABC's hit reality dating show "The Bachelor" is set to air tonight, with 28 contestants all vying for franchise heartthrob Ben Higgins' heart. In a series of sneak peeks and spoilers for the season premiere, one very single lady showed up with an unexpected guest, an unlucky contestant got shut down after asking Higgins for a kiss on the first night, one lady reportedly admitted to having contact with Higgins prior to filming and blogger Reality Steve revealed the name of season 20's winner.
Higgins Met Huey, the Mini-Horse
During the season premiere, each hopeful had the chance to make an entrance to ensure a memorable introduction with Higgins. Contestant Maegan, a 30-year-old cowgirl from Fort Worth, Texas, brought along a special man in her life, a mini-horse named Huey. "Might as well give you the full-blown picture right off the bat of what dating me involves," Maegan told Higgins.
Lace Asked Higgins for a Kiss, Got Rejected
Lace, a 25-year-old real estate agent from Denver, awkwardly asked Higgins for a "better kiss." Higgins rejected her, in the nicest way, and told her his goal for the first night was to get to know each of the ladies before moving onto the more physical aspects of his relationships with them. Another lady swooped in during Higgins and Lace's chat, to Lace's dismay. "I don't look like a fool or anything," she told cameras.
Higgins allegedly had contact with a contestant prior to filming
Fans might recognize Becca, the 26-year-old chiropractic assistant from San Diego, from Chris Soules' season of "The Bachelor." Becca planned to make a return to the franchise after not receiving a rose from Soules, but Higgins reportedly reached out to her to tell her that he did not want her to come on the show because he didn't want Soules' leftovers, according to blogger Reality Steve. Becca and Higgins were in "brief contact" with each other, but Becca ignored Higgins' request. Her arrival will likely stir the pot this season.
And the winner is...
Reality Steve has faithfully predicted the winner of each season of the franchise, thanks to his insider production sources. Lauren B., a 25-year-old flight attendant from Marina Del Rey, Calif., will win over Higgins' affection during the season finale, which was filmed during a romantic trip to Jamaica, the blogger reports. The episode is set to air on March 14, according to Reality Steve, and the series will end with an engagement.
Be sure to catch the season 20 premiere of "The Bachelor," airing Monday nights at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
