Hannah and her friends will soon say goodbye to their white girl problems. "Girls" will end its run after six seasons on HBO, according to E! News.
HBO has yet to renew the Lena Dunham-Judd Apatow comedy for an official sixth season, and the fifth season is still more than a month away from premiering on Feb. 21. Dunham mentioned going only two more seasons (five and six) before wrapping up the series during a call into Elvis Duran's radio show in the fall.
"Never say never, but that is the way we're thinking about it right now and we're starting to think about sort of how to wrap up the storylines of these particular young women," Dunham said (via E! News). "It's really exciting. I started working on this show when I was 23, and I'm going to be 30 so it kind of feels right that this show kind of sandwiched my 20s and then I go off into the world."

Dwayne Johnson announced his next project, "Boost Unit," on his social media on Tuesday. The new series for Fox is a car-centric police drama based on the a real LAPD unit that focuses on all car-related crimes in Los Angeles.

The Hollywood Reporter reported the official logline for the show: "'Boost Unit' follows the newest recruit of the LAPD's Auto Theft Task Force, a notorious getaway driver with a hidden past. The project captures Johnson's trademark edge and humor as well as the turbo-charged speed of the Fast and the Furious franchise."
NBC's "The Mysteries of Laura" Books Jenna Fischer for a Recurring Role
Jenna Fischer will join the NBC comedy-drama, "The Mysteries of Laura," in a recurring role, according to Deadline. She will play Jennifer Lambert, "an attorney and single mom who makes waves for Laura (Debra Messing) when sparks fly between her character and Laura's ex-husband Jake (Josh Lucas)."
HBO Miniseries "Little Big Lies" Adds Alexander Skarsgard and James Tupper
Alexander Skarsgard and James Tupper have been cast in the HBO miniseries "Little Big Lies" starring Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon, according to TVLine. David E. Kelley is adapting the 2004 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty.
Skarsgard will play Perry Wright, "the devoted husband" of Kidman's Celeste, while Tupper stars as the ex-husband of Witherspoon's Madeline.
Production is set to begin in January.
Barbra Streisand Lends Her Voice to "Modern Family"
Barbra Streisand revealed on her Twitter that she would lend her voice to "Modern Family" during the Jan. 6 episode. Showrunners gave no specific details on her contribution, according to TVLine.
