Beyoncé, AKA the Queen Bey herself, is set to grace viewers with a guest appearance at the upcoming NFL Super Bowl 50 halftime show next month, Entertainment Tonight reported. The international superstar will join British rockers Coldplay, who are scheduled to headline the performance which will be curated by pop crooner Bruno Mars.
Yoncé will reportedly join Coldplay onstage and is speculated to perform the band's song "Hymn for the Weekend," sources told Entertainment Tonight. Beyoncé sings guest vocals on the track, which is featured on Coldplay's latest studio album, "A Head Full of Dreams."
The British rockers announced their halftime show headlining gig last month, as previously reported by HNGN. If Beyoncé joins the band onstage, it will mark her second time performing during a Super Bowl halftime show. The "Drunk in Love" singer headlined her own halftime gig in 2013 during Super Bowl XLVII.
Mars is also rumored to join Coldplay on stage during Super Bowl 50 which will mark his second performance as well, since his 2014 performance during Super Bowl XLVIII. One more guest is expected to join Coldplay, Mars and Beyoncé, according to Entertainment Tonight's sources.
Coldplay front man Chris Martin expressed how excited the band is to perform during the prestigious event in a promotional video interview.
"Are you kidding me? It's the greatest moment of our band's life," Martin said in the promo clip. "We're going to give it everything we have."
Super Bowl 50 is set to air live from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on Feb. 7 on CBS.
