On tonight's episode of FYI's hit social experiment reality TV series "Married at First Sight," the newly arranged married couples still struggle with problems in their marriages. Vanessa Nelson expresses her fear of falling in love with her husband, Tres Russell; Samantha Role and her husband Neil Bowlus struggle with being comfortable enough to touch each other; and David Nelson opens up about his frustration with his wife Ashley Doherty.
Vanessa Nelson & Tres Russell
Russell gushes to the cameras about how "amazing" his wife is, but Vanessa is still keeping up her walls when it comes to Tres because she worries that he isn't ready to commit himself fully to their marriage. "Falling in love with Tres scares me," Vanessa admits.
Samantha Role & Neil Bowlus
Samantha has been trying to lower her guarad and open up to her husband more. The couple seems to be taking the right steps in moving forward, but Neil admits to the cameras that his wife still isn't comfortable enough with him to touch him. "There's no holding hands, we're barely high-fiving," he says. In a scene from tonight's episode, Samantha lays on the bed in the couple's bedroom asks him to "come be a noodle," extending an tenuous invitation.
Ashley Doherty & David Norton
Ashley struggles with feeling comfortable with letting her husband Norton touch her. He's been patient with her but is starting to become more bold in his advances. In a clip from tonight's episode, Norton leans in for a kiss and Doherty allows him to plant his lips on her cheek. The couple calls on the help of sex expert Dr. Logan Levkoff and during their session, Doherty admits she doesn't feel a romantic connection with Norton. "I'm frustrated beyond belief," Norton says.
