Khloe Kardashian: Reality Star's NYC-Bound Plane Forced To Make Emergency Landing In Las Vegas (TWEETS)

Khloe Kardashian's trip to New York was interrupted after the reality star's plane had to make an emergency landing in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.

Kardashian was on board American Airlines flight 256 en route to the Big Apple when the crew noticed a burning smell coming from the cockpit area of the plane and diverted the flight to Las Vegas.

"Supposed 2b in NYC but somehow I'm in Vegas. NYC I'm trying to get there. Emergency landing but Joyce and I are SAFE," she tweeted Tuesday along with a picture of herself arriving at the airport.

The 31-year-old model was travelling to NYC with stylist Joyce Bonelli for her appearance on "Good Morning America" scheduled for Wednesday morning, Entertainment Tonight reported.

"An American airlines flight 256 departed from LA en route to JFK. They called for an emergency landing due to concerns of smoke in the cockpit. The plane landed safely at 3:18pm and the alert was terminated at 3:27pm," said a spokesman for Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport.

Stranded in Las Vegas, Kardashian and Bonelli decided to make good use of their time by live streaming the ordeal on her app, showing them getting off the aircraft and just chilling at the airport.

The second stream kicked off with a FaceTime sesh with sister Kylie Jenner and concluded with an airport authority telling the reality TV star the next flight to Los Angeles was scheduled to take off at 6 p.m., according to E! News.
