This summer, legendary rock bands Heart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Cheap Trick will tour together. The Live Nation-produced Rock Hall Three For All jaunt, announced today, will hit more than 30 cities, kicking off July 14 in Michigan.
All three groups are innovators in the world of rock music and very influential to today’s up-and-coming artists. Heart and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts were previously inducted into the illustrious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and, this April, Cheap Trick will get its well-deserved induction.
Heart – led by the dynamic sister duo Ann and Nancy Wilson – has been making waves since the 1970s. The group has sold more than 35 million albums thanks to hits like “Barracuda,” “Magic Man” and “Alone.”
As the fearless leader of the Blackhearts, Joan Jett has had eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 smashes like “Bad Reputation,” “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll” and “I Hate Myself for Loving You.”
Meanwhile, Cheap Trick has played more than 5,000 shows during a four-decade long career. The band has sold more than 20 million records due to the popularity of singles like “I Want You to Want Me,” “Surrender” and “The Flame.”
