Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have apparently ended their relationship, media reports said. The six-year long relationship ended recently when the celebrity couple moved out of their Mumbai apartment and shifted to separate places, sources close to the matter claim.
"The two have officially parted ways. Three days back, Ranbir moved out of their Carter Road flat with all his bag and baggage. Katrina soon flew off to Delhi to promote Fitoor. This is it for them," a source told Pinkvilla website.
"They have tried making it work for far too long but things weren't falling in place for them. Both of them have made peace with the fact that the relationship is not headed anywhere and their differences can't be resolved. For the last few months, there has been a lot of tension between them," the source added.
There have been speculations about differences of opinion between Ranbir and Katrina for some time, according to India Today. However, Ranbir's proximity with Deepika Padukone during promotions of the recently released film "Tamasha" further soured the relationship.
"Katrina was clearly uncomfortable with Ranbir's proximity to his ex, Deepika Padukone, during the Tamasha promotions and even gave an explosive interview to a magazine where she hinted about Ranbir being unsure about his choices. Katrina wanted to settle down. They've been having too many disagreements and the last straw was when Ranbir moved out of their apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, to his parents' home," another source told Hindustan Times newspaper.
The couple had been living together in a Mumbai apartment since November 2014, according to Mumbai Mirror. Reports about their engagement, even marriage plans, have flooded the media ever since.
