Funimation has announced the English dub cast for its upcoming release of the "Tokyo ESP" anime series, which will feature the anime voice acting debut of Adam Dahlberg, according to Anime News Network. He will be voicing Kyotaro Azuma, the second protagonist of the first arc.
Dahlberg is more commonly known for Sky, his YouTube vlogging and gaming commentary identity, Crunchyroll reports. His main channel, SkyDoesMinecraft, focuses on "Minecraft"-centric gameplay videos, as the name suggests. Dahlberg's other channels include SkyDoesThings and SkyVsGaming, which focus on his vlogs and games other than "Minecraft," respectively.
The "Tokyo ESP" manga was created by Hajime Segawa and began serialization in Monthly Shonen Magazine in February 2010 and is currently ongoing. The anime aired in Japan from July to September 2014. Funimation provides this description of the anime:
"Rinka is a normal Tokyo high-schooler with big dreams and a small income. She works a part-time job to support her and her single dad, but she yearns for the day she'll get to loosen the strings on her pocketbook. Her ordinary life takes a turn for the extraordinary when she witnesses a penguin and a school of fish flying through the air. After one of the fish seems to pass through her, she wakes up in her apartment building with no clothes on and no memory of the strange phenomenon save for a mysterious ability to pass through solid objects. With her newfound powers, Rinka is about to learn just how transparent the world can be."
The collection will be available starting Feb. 23.
