Cat Deeley is a mom! The "So You Think You Can Dance" host and her comedian husband Patrick Kielty have welcomed their first child together. Deeley, 39, announced the exciting news on Twitter Monday afternoon and Kielty, 44, retweeted it.
"Beyond delighted to announce the birth of our baby boy last week," she wrote. "All doing well & we couldn't be happier...3 really is the magic number!"
She had announced she was pregnant back in September in similar fashion by tweeting, "Exciting news...Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the Spring...Lucky us."
While attending the Emmys last year, Deeley talked about her pregnancy cravings to Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet.
"No, I'm all actually fine," she said at the time, according to E! News. "I'm not too bad at all. I'm looking forward though to this week being over so I don't have to wear high heels for a long time. There's been a lots of heels this week. I managed to squeeze myself into this Monique Lhuillier gown. We had to let the back out a little bit but everything else is pretty okay. I'm hanging in there."
The couple, who prefers to keep things pretty low-key, tied the knot during a secret wedding ceremony in Rome, Italy, in 2012, according to Daily Mail. They met in 2002 while presenting at Fame Academy together and remained friends for about a decade before deciding to date. They debuted as a couple in March 2012 and married six months later. Kietly thought there was "always a spark" between them even before their relationship was romantic.
