The first season of "Scream Queens" had a star-studded cast, and now that Fox has renewed the hit show, it looks like we can expect some big names once again for the second season.
Season two of Ryan Murphy's anthology series, which will take place at a hospital instead of on a college campus, already has some exciting casting news. "Scream Queens" will be adding four new male cast members who will be playing doctors at the hospital, according to E! News. The casting search is currently underway for these four actors, who will be in their late 20s and early 30s.
There's also a rumor going around that one major A-list celebrity will be joining the cast, as she was not able to join during season one due to her busy schedule.
"Ryan Murphy really wants Taylor Swift to be a part of it," an insider told Hollywood Life. "And now that she has some time on her hands with no tour obligations, she is considering to take a part on the show. Ryan wants to write her character so good that she has no reason to say no."
Murphy has tried to get Swift to join for season one, as well. "I love Taylor Swift," he said at the time. "I go after Taylor Swift for everything that I do. I have great affection for her. And she's always been so nice about giving me stuff. And I think she's great. I would love to work with her. I actually called her people about her for this, but she had already booked a tour, and I said, just do one episode, but she couldn't even do that. But some day, because I'm a big fan."
"Scream Queens" is expected to return to Fox this fall.
