A shooting at a homeless encampment in the Sodo neighborhood of Seattle, Wash. on Tuesday night killed two people and wounded three others, according to police, The Seattle Times reported.
Police are looking for two suspects in connection with the shooting, which took place in an area known as "The Jungle" at approximately 7:15 p.m. The shooting appears to have been the result of a personal dispute between people who knew each other.
"We have reason to believe it was very targeted as far as what happened here tonight," said Assistant Chief Robert Merner, according to CNN.
The victims of the shooting included a man and a woman. Four people were rushed to the Harborview Medical Center, out of which one died, two are in critical condition while the fourth victim's condition was described as "serious," according to Fox News.
The victims belonged to the 25 to 45 age group and suffered gunshot wounds to the chest, abdomen and back. Aerial and ground law enforcement units have been dispatched in search of the two suspects.
