Amazon is offering its latest Kindle Fire HDX 7" at $30 less for those who purchase Sony's most-awaited PlayStation 4 from the retailer.
Amazon, the world's largest online retailer is offering an exclusive bundle, PS4 and Kindle Fire HDX 7" together at a slight discount. High demand for the gaming console has led to the bundle quickly disappearing. But there is no reason to be upset if you have already purchased your PS4 from the retailer unaware of the deal.
Amazon is further giving an opportunity to its PS4 buyers to grab a Kindle Fire HDX 7" at $199 for the 16GB Wi-Fi version, which is $30 less than its usual retail price of $229. The tablet will still be listed at its standard price but can be purchased for $30 less using a one-time discount code sent to all PS4 buyers via an e-mail. So if you are willing to spend another $199 so that you can get your Christmas gift early then check your email and avail the offer while it lasts.
"While the PS4 heralds in the next generation of consoles, Kindle Fire HDX does the same for tablets with improved visuals, a faster processor, and the revolutionary 'Mayday' button," according to Amazon. "Partner these together with the interactive Second Screen feature for a completely immersive entertainment experience."
Sony's PS4 is currently unavailable for online purchase via Amazon or Best Buy because of the high demand.. The PlayStation 4 is priced at $399 and the bundle which includes PS4 500GB Console, Controller, Call of Duty: Ghosts, PS Plus 12-Month Bundle retails at $570. Amazon also lifted its bundle purchase option for those who are just willing to buy the PS4 and not the Kindle HDX.
In addition to its PS4 offering, Amazon also brought a third option for PlayStation owners to purchase a digital game online via Sony through its new storefront PlayStation Network.
