World of Warcraft Movie Rumors: Colin Farrell Talks About His Involvement With New Film

Colin Farrell was recently on a bit of a press tour in order to promote his new film "Saving Mr. Banks." During that time he did a brief interview with the folks at IGN. Being a game website they were pretty much forced to ask him about the recent rumors that he's been approached for a role in Mood director Duncan Jones' upcoming Warcraft movie for Legendary. While he said he was still in the dark about his own involvement in the project, he confirmed that he's in talks.

"Don't know what's happening, man. I read the script, if that's any use to you, and it's amazing," he said before going on to talk about Duncan Jones himself. "Yeah, he's cool. Duncan was cool. I sat with Duncan for awhile and read the script, loved the script, and we was as cool as can be. I don't know what's happening with the film. I don't know where they are in the process."

He wasn't able to give too many other details other than that he was impressed by the script. When asked what would be his biggest draw toward doing the movie or if he was a Warcraft fan to begin with, he responded:

"Not at all, no. The script was just really, really cool, and it's just a world that I never explored - and it's a really big and fantastical world. I can't imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on Moon with, like, a dime, I can't imagine what he'd do with this Warcraft."

In terms of who he'd play in the film, Farrell was afraid to go too into detail.

"I don't even know, actually, I'll just say that! I don't even know. We were just talking, and Duncan just said, 'There might be something in it for you!' And I said, 'Catering?'" he said with a laugh.
