Lionsgate plans to release this reboot on March 24, 2017 as an origin story. Den Isrealite is directing and the main four Power Rangers will be played Becky G, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Dacre Montgomery and R.J. Cyler.
Banks was last seen in 2015's "The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay - Part II" and "Pitch Perfect 2," the latter of which served as her directorial debut. She will next helm the reboot of the "Charlie's Angels" franchise for Sony Pictures.
