"Girls" star Adam Driver is one of the many actors who has reportedly been linked to "Batman Vs. Superman", and the latest to shoot down the rumor mills.
The speculation began last week when multiple reports sited sources saying Driver was in the running for the role of Nightwing, Batman's former sidekick known as Robin.
"A source tells The Wrap that at least two other actors may be in the mix to play Grayson, the Caped Crusader's former sidekick, who's been estranged from Bruce Wayne for years in the movie, according to Latino Review," The Wrap reported.
However, during an interview with Huffington Post, Driver denied he was going to be in Zack Snyder's upcoming film, for now.
Driver's comment makes it seem less likely of a Nightwing appearance, but film maker Kevin Smith gave fans a reason to get pumped about the "Man of Steel" sequel.
During a podcast, "Hollywood Babble-On with Ralph Garman and Kevin Smith", Smith let out he had seen one of the first images of the new Batsuit for the upcoming flick.
"I saw the costume, more than that I saw him [Ben Affleck] in the costume...I don't want to give anything away cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this...I instantly bear hugged him. You have not seen this costume in film before. Because every other movie has done this matrixy black armor thing," Smith said during his Podcast.
"There wasn't a single nipple on this [frick]ing suit man. I think everyone is gonna be like 'Holy Shit!' We haven't been down this path before. Even the Hardest core '[frick] this movie' person will be like 'alright, I'm ready!'" Smith added.
However, Smith did have to sensor out one detail during his podcast that would has revealed too much information about Snyder's Batsuit.
"It seemed like it was very [Redacted] Influenced," Smith said.
"Batman Vs. Superman" is set to be release July 17, 2015.
