The inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League began on Feb. 4 and will continue until Feb. 23. Islamabad United will take on the Quetta Gladitors in the opening T20 league match on Thursday, according to Geo TV. The 24-match tournament will feature the world's best T20 players, including Chris Gayle, Dwyane Bravo, Shane Watson, Andrew Russell, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Kevin Peterson, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Umer Gul, Shoaib Malik and Ravi Bopara.
Five teams that are named after Pakistan's five provincial capitals and the national capital - the Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, the Lahore Qualandars, the Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United- will compete with each other to win the inuagural season of the long-awaited T20 league, PSL, which will be held in Dubai and Sharjah cricket stadiums in United Arab Emirates, according to Dunya News.
