Teresa Giudice has completed her house arrest. The 43-year-old "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star's 44-day house arrest is officially over, her lawyer confirmed to People. She was released from jail on Dec. 23, 2015 after spending almost a year there for fraud and has since been able to take occasional excursions to see family or go shopping, but only with permission of her probation officer. Now that the house arrest is over, she can come and go as she pleases.
"Effective this morning, Teresa is no longer subject to the parameters of home confinement," her attorney said. "She is now free is all aspects from the custodial portion of her sentence. The restitution has been paid in full and what remains is a two-year period of supervised release, the terms of which we will remain in full compliance with...Teresa is very much looking forward to closing this dark chapter in her life and moving forward both personally and professionally."
She no longer has to wear her ankle bracelet, either, her attorney also told E! News. "She's very excited," he added.
"Feeling so blessed today xo," Giudice tweeted on Friday morning alongside four praying hand emojis.
Her husband, Joe Giudice, will begin his 41-month sentence for fraud charges at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey next month.
