What Do Cats Do While We Sleep? This Creepy Video Shows It (VIDEO)

Chris Poole owns and loves his two cats, named Marmalade and Cole. Marmalade is the light orange cat, and Cole is his black-furred counterpart. They have their own blog, YouTube channel, Instagram, and Facebook page where they've been entertaining thousands with their antics since 2007.

One of their videos has gotten even more attention than usual, and that's the "Purranormal Cativity" video. In the style of the "Paranormal Activity" series of terrifying horror movies, Poole explores what cats (furry poltergeists!) do as we sleep.

"This footage was recorded over a couple of weeks, letting the camera film for around two hours until the battery died each night...It's always fun to upload the footage the following morning and see what the[y] got up to," said Poole, according to Mashable.

The video shows spooky glowing eyes, items getting knocked over, bumps in the night and screeching yowls, said Cats to Love. There's clearly not much that separates ghouls and night-exploring cats.

Watch the video below, and prepare to get the creeps!

Poole is a strong advocate for spay/neuter adoption, and hopes that his cat videos can raise awareness about how great shelter cats can be, as well as how important it is to spay/neuter, as he says on the blog's About section.
