Where she's goes, they will follow. So is the case with Amy Sherman-Palladino, who has recruited her "Bunheads" star Sutton Foster to make a stopover in Stars Hollow for the "Gilmore Girls" revival on Netflix, according to TVLine.
Foster starred in the short-lived ABC Family series also created by Sherman-Palladino and premiered five years after "Gilmore Girls" went off the air. "Bunheads" also starred "Gilmore Girls" alum Kelly Bishop and many other actors from The WB series popped into their former boss' new show.
If we open up the entire AS-P universe for casting, could we see Parker Posey, star of the 2008 comedy series "The Return of Jezebel James," possibly booking a room at the Dragonfly Inn? Or perhaps Tony Denison, star of Sherman-Palladino's 1996 sitcom "Love & Marriage" grabs coffee at Luke's?
Let's keep it all in the family!
The "Younger" star is the first non-original "Gilmore Girls" cast member confirmed for the revival. News of her casting came on the heels of Milo Ventimiglia's return as bad boy Jess Mariano, the second of Rory's (Alexis Bledel) three boyfriends on the show.
He joins Matt Czuchry, who played Rory's third boyfriend Logan, as confirmed ex-lovers coming back. Only Jared Padalecki who played Rory's first love Dean, has not officially signed on.
Netflix has not confirmed a premiere date for the "Gilmore Girls" revival only to say 2016.
