Last night’s episode of “NCIS” began the Ellie Bishop era she helped Gibbs and his team discover who was a behind a SecNav security breach.
However, while the buzz is surrounding Ellie, we shouldn’t’ forget about the rest of the cast.
Executive Producer Gary Glasberg recently told Entertainment Weekly’s Sandra Gonzalez, what fans can expect in the future with Abby, Vance and McGee.
According to EW.com, fans should prepare themselves for a Vance-themed story that is quite touching. As many fans will recall, it will be the Vance family’s first Christmas without Mrs. Vance.
McGee fans should be ready to get their fix in a post-Christmas episode. “He’s going to play a really big part after the holidays,” EP Gary Glasberg told Gonzalez. “And Delilah’s still around. He’s got his work cut out for him in some stuff coming up.”
As for Abby, she and a team will have to do some research to save some military families from an outbreak, reports Gonzalez.
“It’s an Abby-centric story. So it’s Abby and Carol [Meredith Eaton] and Palmer really focused in the lab to try to focus on what’s going on,” Glasberg said.
While Bishop gave us some surprises, for the most part she is exactly as Glasberg described according to TVLine.com. He said she was “bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward. She has a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism.” And he was right.
“NCIS” airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
