Kanye West topped off an eventful week in New York City when he performed two songs off his brand-new album "The Life of Pablo" on "Saturday Night Live." Days after the rapper debuted the album during his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show at Madison Square Garden, he performed two tracks as the musical guest, "Ultralight Beam" and "Highlights."
West kicked off the night with his song "Highlights," which was complete with a dreamy video background. West first stood onstage solo with his fist in the air before Young Thug, The-Dream, Kelly Price and El Debarge joined him. For his second performance, West brought out denim-clad gospel choir for "Ultralight Beam," as well as Chance the Rapper, who is featured in the song. After the performance was done, West let the music die down and said into his microphone, "Kanye West dot com right now, Tidal streaming right now," meaning that "The Life of Pablo" was finally available to fans.
Between's West's busy schedule of showing at New York Fashion Week, finishing his album and performing on "Saturday Night Live," the rapper somehow managed to also film a sketch that featured cast member Kyle Mooney. In the sketch, Mooney and West get into a rap battle where he unleashes a verse off his song "I Love Kanye" from "The Life of Pablo."
"The Life of Pablo" is now available on Tidal and KanyeWest.com
