Josh Brolin is the latest Hollywood celebrity to check himself in a rehab center.
The 45-year-old actor is reportedly seeking help for substance abuse at a Northern California treatment facility, according to US Weekly.
"He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," an inside source told the gossip magazine.
On Nov. 2, TMZ reported Brolin got into an altercation with a bouncer at O'Brien's Irish Pub in Santa Monica, Calif. (Watch video here)
"This isn't Josh's first bar fight. He famously got arrested in Shreveport, LA outside a bar while shooting a movie. He was also busted on Jan 1, 2013 for public intoxication," according to TMZ.
The fight ended when Brolin embraced the man, but it was not the only incident that occurred that weekend.
Brolin was also in a fender-bender with a cab driver on Nov. 4, which was reportedly caught on camera.
"We're told Josh rear-ended the cab while waiting in line to pay at the drive-thru, but when the cabbie tried to swap insurance info ... J.B. got pissed and yelled that there was only a minor scratch," TMZ reported. "The cabbie didn't agree and that's when Josh really got angry ... screaming, 'you suck as a cab driver' and accusing the guy of milking him for money."
However, no police report was filed by the cab driver following the alleged incident.
Brolin isn't the only celebrity who has checked himself into rehab this month. R&B singer Chris Brown went to a treatment center to seek help for his anger issues, according to multiple reports.
However, he was allegedly kicked out of the rehab facility when he became "violent,'" the New York Daily News reported.
"Mr. Brown proceeded to walk outside and pick up a rock and threw it through his mother's car window and shattered it," the redacted letter filed with the court and published by the Daily News stated.
"We discharged him from residential treatment and told him he could leave immediately as he had signed a non-violent contract when he enrolled," the letter read.
According to the Daily News, Brown was ordered to 90 days of rehab and random drug testing after being thrown out of the rehab facility.
