Nanaya Online Tool Predicts Romantic Future Through Science, Finds You 'The One' (PHOTO, TWEETS)

Rather than relying on your horoscope or astrology to find your match, a website is claiming that it can predict the perfect person for you and could even provide an outlook of your romantic future using science.

The website, called Nanaya.co, was developed by Rashied Amini, a former systems engineer at NASA. It is based on an algorithm that evaluates a person's romantic chances using a combination of scientific method, data and results from a personality questionnaire, the Daily Mail reported. Once it analyzes a user's data, it goes on to predict whether someone is the right match.

Nanaya can also calculate the luck of a person in the romance department at specific periods in the future. "The Nanaya algorithm predicts the number of people you'll actually meet and how often you'll meet them to create a probability distribution based on all those interactions and single-event probabilities," Nanaya explained in an official statement. "This tells us in time what the net odds are of finding love."

The so-called probability distribution involves the collection of all the necessary information about a person. But the interpretation of data posed the ultimate challenge for Amini's team. The algorithm that they eventually developed addressed this issue through the element of "propensity," which provided the basis for suggestions that improve the odds and other calculations for accurate predictions.

Amini started the Nanaya project to learn whether he and his girlfriend were bound to be together. After their breakup, Amini says she told him that she would need for him to furnish a cost-benefit analysis before she could consider taking him back, according to a New Scientist report. This turned out to be the motivation behind the Nanaya online tool.
