Justin Bieber Tries To Hide Selena Gomez Tattoo – It Doesn’t Work (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber fell in love with Selena Gomez and then got a tattoo of her face put on his wrist. Sadly, the couple broke up, but the image remains and shading has not helped hide it.

Bieber revealed the meaning behind a number of his tattoos during his cover shoot for GQ's March issue. The Gomez tattoo, which depicts her with large angel wings, is located just above his watch.

"This is my ex-girlfriend. So I kind of tried to cover her face up with some shading," he explained, "but people still know."

The "Sorry" singer and Gomez share a "cordial" relationship nowadays, but he described their split to GQ as the only "bad" breakup in his life. She also inspired "a lot" of the songs on his recent "Purpose" album.

"We don't talk often, but we're cordial. If she needs something, I'm there for her. If I need something, she's there for me," he told the magazine.

Bieber isn't looking to settle down at age 21 and doesn't want to make a promise to commit that he knows he can't uphold right now. He also admits that rumored girlfriend Hailey Baldwin is "someone I really love" and they're not dating so much as they "spend a lot of time together." His biggest fear is damaging a relationship that could turn into more later in his life.

"I know that in the past I've hurt people and said things that I didn't mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I'm just more so looking at the future, making sure I'm not damaging them," he said. "What if Hailey ends up being the girl I'm gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it's always gonna be damaged. It's really hard to fix wounds like that. It's so hard.... I just don't want to hurt her."

The other tattoos covering his body include his mother's birthday in Roman numerals on his chest, an image of Jesus on his calf and wings on the back of his neck that took three hours to complete.
