Sour Patch Grapes: Amazing 2-Ingredient Recipe

You might be familiar with this scenario: the exact moment you decide to start eating healthier to get in shape, your cravings grow, warp and multiply. They gain strength with every Pinterest post you see. TV commercials for pizza suddenly carry a magnetic force that pushes you to the phone, delivery menu in hand. People eating ice cream on the street are like Sirens, calling to you and imploring you to transgress, leaving your healthy-eating ideas in the dust.

For everything you crave, you can find a "healthy" version online. Some will do the trick and calm the beast inside you that begs for burgers, but others fall flat. We've got one of the good ones here for you. If you are the type of person that craves sour gummies, but are trying to cut back, we can help. We present to you Sour Patch Grapes.

This recipe from Dinner then Dessert only has two ingredients and seems very odd. Jell-O powder and grapes? How is that like a Sour Patch Kid?

Well, the juicy grapes and the citric acid-packed Jell-O powder meet in the middle to make something amazing. Though they don't really have the chewiness of gummies, the sweet and sour taste is all there, so your craving will be knocked out of the park.

You can use whatever flavor of Jell-O powder you want. The recipe we're sharing divides the grapes into four flavors - orange, watermelon, green apple and lemon - to mimic the real Sour Patch Kids. If you're trying this out for the first time, feel free to go with one flavor, and then go nuts and experiment next time!
