Blake Lively snagged a coveted front row seat to American fashion designer Michael Kors' Fall 2016 fashion show on Wednesday as part of New York Fashion Week, Wonderwall reported. But with great seats come great responsibility, which Lively completely disregarded as she broke the number one rule: no crossed legs during the show.
The 28-year-old actress and model was seated in the front next to fellow actresses Naomie Harris and Riley Keough, along with her mother Elaine, and all front row guests were asked to uncross their legs while the show was in progress, according to The New York Post's Page Six.
"It's for the photographers," a fashionista told Page Six. "People's legs get in the way . . . It messes up the shots."
Lively and Keough were photographed breaking the rules with their legs crossed throughout the majority of the runway show, and Michael Kors chairman John D. Idol personally told Lively and others to uncross their legs, but Lively still crossed her legs - channeling her "Gossip Girl" character Serena Van Der Woodsen's rule-breaking ways.
She still seemed to enjoy the show, which was full of Kors' "flirty and charming" Fall 2016 line, according to Vogue. Lively even praised Kors' new collection in an interview after the show.
"Michael Kors makes just the yummiest sweaters and he makes really beautiful prints," Lively told Vogue in a video interview. "Everything is very easy but yet it looks really refined and chic."
