Tyga might not be able to live in his $4.2 million rental home anymore because his landlord is reportedly trying to evict him. Word got out on Friday that the property owner is trying to kick the rapper out of the Hollywood Hills lavish home, as he has apparently broken the terms of his lease, according to Gossip Cop. However, the exact reasons for the eviction are still unclear.
The 26-year-old rapper has been living there since December and is supposed to be paying $17,000 a month, but the landlord issued him with an unlawful detainer notice last week, which is a serious legal action that only landlords can give out when tenants aren't following their lease.
Tyga is listed on the legal documents under his legal name, Michael Ray Stevenson, as the defendant, Page Six reported. This isn't the first time that he's dealt with landlord and rent issues, either. In August, he was ordered to pay a past landlord $70,000 back in rent from a rented Calabasas home. And just a few months prior to that, he owed a different landlord $80,000 for similar reasons.
The rapper moved out of his 18-year-old girlfriend Kylie Jenner's $2.7 million mansion in November as a way to give her some space when the two had a bit of a rough patch in their relationship, as HNGN previously reported. He had been living in the Hollywood Hills rental home ever since.
Things between the two have been good since, and Tyga even just dropped $15,000 on grills for the reality star, according to TMZ. He went to Johnny Dang & Co. to buy her the 18k gold and diamond mouthpiece, most likely for Valentine's Day.
