No question is too personal for Khloé Kardashian! The reality star gets supercandid with her guests, including "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Rinna, on the upcoming episode of her new, hit FYI late night talk show "Kocktails with Khloé." In a sneak peek for next week's show, Kardashian opens up about the real reason why she decided to split from her former boyfriend, NBA star James Harden.
Sitting at the kitchen island counter on the set of Kardashian's laid back talk show, Rinna asks Kardashian why her relationship with the 6-foot-5 Houston Rockets player didn't work out.
"You know, I just don't want to put up with people that you want to be monogamous [with], but then you're not monogamous," Kardashian explains. "I've always said, you know, it's long distance - we don't need to be monogamous. There's a lot of s--t going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston, I live in L.A., let's just see each other when we see each other."
The 31-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star says she did want a committed relationship, but also wanted to be realistic about her expectations for her relationship with Harden. However, he was the one who pushed for a monogamous relationship.
"He sought me out, he wanted to be committed and then [he] wasn't committed, so KoKo had to let him go-go," jokes Kardashian. "I got the receipts to prove it."
Kardashian "dumped" Harden sometime last month, a source confirmed to Us Weekly. The pair began dating last July even though Kardashian is still legally married to former NBA star Lamar Odom. Harden was reportedly supportive of Kardashian's desire to support Odom through his near-fatal overdose last October, but breakup rumors swirled after Harden was spotted at a strip club in January.
