Dunkin' Donuts is getting ready to take on other fast food chain's breakfast menus with some new items that are only available for a limited time. Starting Feb. 29, the coffee and donut company will debut a brand new breakfast burrito, an updated version of the croissant donut and a new take on some old classics.
Dunkin' Donuts new GranDDe Burrito comes with a spicy omelet, cheese, rice, beans and sausage all wrapped in a 10-inch tortilla (there is also a vegetarian option), according to Refinery29. The burrito weighs in at an impressive half pound, just enough food for the most important meal of the day.
In addition to the new treat and burrito, Dunkin' Donuts is also adding new ice cream-flavored coffees, all of which are based on popular Baskin-Robbins flavors like Cookie Dough, Butter Pecan and Pistachio. The coffee will be served in hot, iced and latte version.
As it ramps up its battle against McDonald's for breakfast foods, according to Fortune, the company is also changing the formats of its menus and will unveil new menus boards at drive-through windows as well.
All of these new menu items will be available starting Monday until the end of April.
