The snooze button isn't exclusively for your alarm clock anymore, as Google has announced the addition of even more snooze options for its Gmail applications, International Business Times reported.
The search giant is introducing two new options: "Later this week" and "This weekend." These options are available on all smartphone Gmail apps.
"These new options should hopefully save you some time, and decrease the need to use custom snooze," Google said in a blog post.
The new features also allow users to choose which weekend days work best for receiving emails. They can also designate which days of the week fall under the "weekend" category, as this changes depending on the person's workweek.
Google claims that these new features will save users time and allow them to focus on what they need to do, when they need to do it. The best part is that all of these updates come directly from customer feedback, according to Tech Times.
The company expects the snooze options to be available for its users throughout the week, with the updates being released on a rolling basis.
The look of the Gmail app is also changing, and users can expect more updates to roll out soon.
