Nick Gordon Speaks About Bobbi Kristina's Autopsy Report

On what would have been her 23rd birthday, an autopsy report detailing the cause of death for late Bobbi Kristina Brown was released by the Fulton County Medical Examiner. Now her boyfriend Nick Gordon - who has been blamed for her death in a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit - has broken his silence about the results.

The daughter of the late music icon Whitney Houston was found face down in a bathtub in January 2015, and she was placed under a medically induced coma. She remained unresponsive and was moved into hospice care in June until her death on July 26 at just 22 years old. Her autopsy revealed that her cause of death was due to "Lombar pneumonia," which was due to a mix of drugs and drowning. The toxicology report also discovered that Brown had marijuana, alcohol, sedative and anti-anxiety medication and morphine in her system.

Gordon, 20, appeared to be smiling as he was photographed leaving a gated community in Sanford, Fla.where he lives with his mother, Michelle. He was walking to a nearby gas station for snacks on Friday when he stopped for an interview.

"I'm glad that sh-- is all over," Gordon said in response to the autopsy results. "I just want to wish my girl a happy birthday. I can't say any more but it's good."

His seemingly good mood might be because the autopsy "backs up his claim," a source close to Gordon told People. Gordon "always maintained that he didn't kill" Brown, contrary to the wrongful death suit brought against him by Brown's conservator.

In the suit filed by Bedelia Hargrove, it is alleged that Gordon physically abused Brown and stole thousands of dollars from her. The documents also claim that a physical altercation broke out between the couple on the night of Brown's death and allege that Gordon gave Brown a "toxic cocktail" before he submerged her head in a bath tub.

"She had drugs in her system, and this wasn't a cocktail. Nick didn't inject drugs into her," the source told People. "Sadly, Bobbi Kristina used drugs for a long time, and she drowned in her bathtub. It's a tragedy, but Nick didn't kill her."
