Nick Gordon may be in the middle of civil lawsuit with the family of his late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown, but his legal issues aren't stopping him from remembering his lost love during the holiday season.
Gordon professed his love for his late girlfriend on Wednesday by sharing a controversial Christmas card on his private Twitter account. The post featured an old picture of Gordon and Brown smiling and wearing photoshopped Santa hats.
The post also included photoshopped presents on the couple's laps and "Merry Christmas" written at the bottom of the card. The image immediately came under fire by many social media users who called the post "creepy" and questioned Gordon's intentions.
Brown passed away on July 26 at the age 22 after being in a medically induced coma for several months. In January, the late daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta-area home. Brown's family banned Gordon from attending her funeral. They filed a lawsuit weeks afterwards.
"Ms. Brown died due to a violent altercation with Gordon after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious after he injected her with a toxic mixture," the lawsuit filed by Brown's conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, stated, according to court documents obtained by Radar Online in October.
The lawsuit also accused Gordon of both verbal and physical abuse, including allegedly knocked Brown's teeth out and withdrawing funds from Brown's personal bank account. Gordon's legal team slammed the claims as "slanderous and meritless," according to People.
