South Africa Vs. Australia: 3rd T20 Of Three Match Series [LIVE STREAM]

South Africa will face Australia in the third and final Twenty20 International (T20I) of the three-match series at Newlands, Cape Town on Wednesday.

Australia registered a comeback win in the second T20 on Sunday after losing the series opener last week. A record-setting 161 run stand between David Warner and Glenn Maxwell powered Australia to chase down 204.

Batting first, South Africa made 204 for seven in 20 overs. It was Proteas' highest ever T20 total against Australia. The tourists, in reply, reduced to 32-3 in initial overs. However, a record 161 run stand between Warner and Maxwell guided Australia to a thrilling last ball win over South Africa.

"We don't go out to set any records ... obviously it's a great achievement. The disappointing thing from our end is ... neither one of us were there at the end. That's the negative but the plus side is we won," Warner said.

South African skipper Faf du Plessis said he was not over disappointed over his bowler's failure to defend a massive total of 204 in second T20I played at Johannesburg.

"As a captain all you can ask of your bowlers is to be skillful at the death and bowl the ball in the right areas and we did that. I am not overly disappointed. The disappointing thing is that when the game is on the line, you want to make sure you get your basics right. To bowl two free hits in the last two-and-a-half overs, is a match swing of about 10 or 12 runs," Plessis said.
