Bangladesh, which recently lost the Asia Cup final to India by eight wickets, is likely to dominate Group A and have a good chance to qualify for the main rounds. Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza wants his side to forget the Asia Cup final loss and go into world cup with a positive mindset.
"We are taking a lot of positives from the tournament as we have a played the final which is a huge achievement," Mortaza said after the Asia Cup final loss. "But in two days we have a qualifying match in the World T20. We have to qualify first and then also we will be in the group of death. We have to be mentally ready and ensure that this final loss does not affect us as playing in India is a tough thing."
Netherlands, on the other hand, lost an official warm up match against Afghanistan last week. The Wesley Barresi-led side failed to chase a 153 run target set by Afghans in 20 overs.
