"Pawn Stars'" cast member Austin Russell, also known as Chumlee on the reality show, was arrested late Wednesday on weapon and drug possession charges.
Russell, 33, was taken into custody after police conducted a search of his Las Vegas home while investigating an alleged sexual assault incident.
"During the course of a sexual assault investigation and search warrant search regarding Austin Lee Russell, detectives found illegal substances like methamphetamines, marijuana and several guns which he's prohibited from owning, which resulted in his arrest," Officer Larry Hadfield of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said.
Russell is currently held at the Clark County Detention Center on bail of $62,000. The reality star is facing 19 drug possession charges and one count of "prohibited person in possession of a firearm."
The police also said that Russell has not yet been charged in the sexual assault case as the investigation is still ongoing.
Russell has starred on the popular History channel show since its premiere in June 2009 and quickly became a favorite among viewers as "Chumlee."
The show follows life at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which is run by Richard "Old Man" Harrison, his son Rick Harrison, Rick's son Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison, and Russell, who is Corey's childhood friend.
The series has come a long way since its debut seven years ago, recently wrapping up production on the upcoming 12th season last month.
In January 2011, "Pawn Stars" become the network's highest-rated series with a record-breaking 7 million viewers. The show's success gave birth to multiple spinoffs offshoots such as "Cajun Pawn Stars," "Counting Cars" and "American Restoration" and created a whole new genre within reality television about pawnbrokers and their businesses.
"We don't have details yet but are here to help Chumlee however we can," said Rick Harrison on Russell's arrest.
This isn't the first time Russell has made the news. In 2013, he was a victim of, not one, but two, death hoaxes on social media that claimed that the reality star died of a marijuana overdose. However, Chumlee took to Twitter a few days later to reveal that he was very much alive.
