Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took time out of his busy filming schedule this weekend to surprise sick children at a hospital in Savannah.
While shooting scenes for his upcoming film "Baywatch" at the Memorial Health Hospital, the 43-year-old actor decided to take a break from filming to visit patients in the Pediatric Specialty Ward. Johnson took to Instagram to share two photos of him with patients and heartwarming messages.
In the first photo, The Rock is fist-bumping a young boy. He praises Aiden in the caption for his impressive concentration and also takes the time to thank the "hard working and caring staff."
"To all the kids I met - you guys keep smiling and staying strong," he added. "All the mamas and daddy's I met, y'all stay strong too. Gotta tell ya little stuff like this will always be the best part of fame."
He then posted another photo of him in another patient, Christopher's, hospital room. Johnson explained that since Christopher is older, he's not in pediatric care with the rest of the children and is instead in the main hospital, so he put the "Baywatch" production on hold so he could see the young boy.
"I walked in and his smile lit up the room!" he wrote, adding that they spent time talking about Christopher's family, future and how cool his surgery scars are.
"Right before I left his mom looked at him and said, 'Christopher I can't give you anything, but I'm so happy I could give you this today...' and she started to breakdown, which was captured in this pic," he continued to write. "Made me think to give so much credit to these parents who would do anything to take their kid's pain away and ANYTHING to bring a smile to their faces. As a papa bear I understand."
